Get In The Pit
Benaiah went down into a pit on a snowy day and killed a lion. Every detail in that sentence makes the situation worse, and he still moved toward it.
In this message, we look at three men and three pits. Joseph was thrown into one through betrayal. Jeremiah was lowered into one for his faithfulness. Benaiah chose to climb into one. Three different pits carry one truth: the presence of a pit does not prove the absence of God.
If you've been standing at the edge of something God has spoken to you about, waiting for the snow to stop, for the money to show up, or for someone to agree with you, this message is for you. We talk about why hard seasons don't mean you missed God, why biblical courage isn't the absence of fear, and why you need discernment before you need courage. Not every lion is your lion. But if God assigned it to you, it's time to get in the pit.
And when you do, you don't go in alone. You go in knowing the Lion of Judah, the One who has already conquered, stands with you.
